These terms govern use of the ZoqCard site and the purchase of digital products through it. Browsing the site, creating an account or completing an order constitutes acceptance of these terms and the related policies. Please read them carefully before purchasing.
Definitions and scope
“ZoqCard” or “the store” means the ZoqCard online platform registered in the Sultanate of Oman. “Customer” means anyone who uses the site or buys through it. “Digital products” include gift cards, game codes, subscriptions, telecom and platform top-ups, and other products delivered electronically.
These terms apply to all orders placed through the store, together with the delivery policy, the returns and refund policy, the privacy policy and any specific terms shown on a product page.
Eligibility and account
- The customer must have full legal capacity to purchase, or use the site with the consent of a guardian or legal representative.
- The customer must provide accurate, current information, keep login details and verification codes confidential, and notify the store of any suspected unauthorised use of the account.
- The store may request additional information or verification before accepting or delivering an order, to protect customers and reduce fraud and payment misuse.
Products and regional restrictions
- The customer is responsible for reviewing the product name, value, currency, platform, usage method and intended country or region before confirming the order.
- A product may work only in a specific country, online store, account type or device. A value written in a foreign currency does not mean the product is usable in every country.
- Products are also subject to the terms of issuers and third-party platforms, which may change their services, terms or availability outside the store’s control.
Prices and currencies
- Base selling prices are shown in Omani rial (OMR) unless clearly stated otherwise, and the final amount due is shown before payment is confirmed.
- A digital card may carry a face value in another currency such as US dollars or Saudi riyals; that is the card’s usage currency and not necessarily the store’s payment currency.
- Prices and availability may change due to supplier updates, exchange rates or applicable fees and taxes. A later price change does not affect an order that has already been accepted.
Orders and payment
- Submitting an order or receiving a notification does not mean final acceptance. An order is confirmed after successful payment, verification and confirmation that the product is available.
- Payment is made using the methods available at checkout, and processing is subject to the terms of the payment provider used.
- An order may be suspended, rejected or cancelled where fraud is suspected, incorrect data is used, these terms are breached or the product is unavailable. If the amount was charged and the order cancelled, it is refunded appropriately under the returns and refund policy.
- Where there is an obvious technical error in a price, description or availability, the store may pause the order and contact the customer to correct it, or cancel the order and refund the amount paid.
Digital delivery
- Products are delivered electronically by the method shown at checkout, which may include the customer’s account, email or any approved delivery channel within the store.
- Delivery may be immediate, or delayed by verification procedures, technical faults or supplier delays. The details in the delivery policy apply.
- The customer must ensure contact details are correct and the account is accessible, and must not share the code or product data with anyone untrusted.
Cancellation, returns and refunds
Given the nature of digital products and the possibility of viewing or using the code immediately on delivery, a product may not be cancelled or returned after delivery. Non-delivery, invalid codes and products not matching their description are handled under the returns and refund policy, subject to rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Acceptable use
- Using the store or its products for fraud, money laundering, payment-method abuse or any illegal activity is prohibited.
- Hacking, disrupting or circumventing the site’s systems, or collecting its data automatically without authorisation, is prohibited.
- Codes may not be resold or used in a way that breaches the issuer’s terms, intellectual-property rights or applicable law.
Intellectual property
The ZoqCard name, site content, design and proprietary elements belong to their owners or licensors. Trademarks, product names and logos of other parties remain the property of their owners and are displayed only to identify the products available.
Limitation of liability
The store takes reasonable care to display accurate information and deliver products properly. Some services depend on external suppliers, platforms, payment and telecom providers and may be affected by faults or changes outside the store’s control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability or right that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Account suspension or termination
The store may suspend or restrict an account where these terms are breached, where there is a reasonable suspicion of unlawful activity, or where there is a security risk, taking appropriate action on pending orders and amounts in accordance with the law and published policies.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when needed. The version published at the time an order is placed applies to that order, unless the law requires otherwise. Continued use of the site after updates are published constitutes acceptance of the updated version for subsequent use.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Sultanate of Oman. The store and the customer first seek to resolve any complaint or dispute amicably through customer service, after which the competent authorities may be approached. Where services are provided outside Oman, this does not prejudice any mandatory consumer-protection rules applicable in the customer’s country.
