All-Star Edition is the broader content tier of NBA 2K25, the basketball simulation that rebuilds the NBA with its licensed teams, players and rulebook. Modes run from a single exhibition game through a created player’s career to running a franchise across seasons, and the on-court simulation is the heart of all of them. This product is a digital key for Xbox consoles.

Standard versus All-Star content

The difference is not the basketball itself but what comes packaged with it: a bundle of in-game bonuses pointed at the collection and player-progression modes. Structurally the two editions are the same game, so anyone who only wants to play can stay on the Standard Edition.

Putting the code on your account

  1. Open the Xbox app or the Microsoft website and sign in.
  2. Go to the use-a-code option inside the Store.
  3. Copy the 25 characters from your email and paste them in.
  4. Confirm, and the game registers in your account library.

Before checkout

A Microsoft account and an internet-connected Xbox are required to download the game files. The key is consumed at the first successful redemption, cannot be moved afterwards, and is not refundable once revealed. Microsoft’s service terms govern the account.
